Emily Guildner
Emily Guildner is one of the Managing Partners of Thompson, Guildner & Associates, Inc., P.S. Emily grew up in Snohomish, returned after law school, and then joined the Firm in 2013. Emily’s practice focuses on private and corporate clients in matters related to real estate, land use, and contract disputes. She specializes in guiding private and corporate clients through estate planning and the probate process. Emily provides legal services to the City of Snohomish, City of Woodland and the City of North Bonneville. She also assists all municipal clients with a variety of matters including complex public records requests, contract review, First Amendment issues, code enforcement, and litigation. Emily was admitted to practice in Washington State in 2013, and the Federal District Court, Western District of Washington, in 2014.
Emily is mentoring Law Clerk Mara Powers as part of the Washington State Bar Association’s Law Clerk Program that is authorized by Washington Supreme Court’s Admission and Practice Rule 6. Emily has served on the Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) Board of Trustees since 2022, and became Chair of the Board in 2025. The SEF is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves students and teachers of the Snohomish School District. Between 1986 and 2023, the SEF (through fundraising and administration of community scholarships) has granted over $3 million in scholarships, over $1.1 million in classroom grants, over $500,000 in district-wide programs, and over $12,000 towards the purchase of new shoes for children in-need each year through a partnership with Snohomish Kohl’s and the Hansen Shoe Fund. In 2024 the SEF was able to give away over $100,000 in classroom grants for the first time.
