Mara Powers
Mara Powers joined Thompson, Guildner & Associates, Inc., P.S. in September 2021 as a Paralegal. In January 2024, she became a Law Clerk under Washington State Bar Association’s Law Clerk Program that is authorized by Washington Supreme Court’s Admission and Practice Rule 6. As part of the Law Clerk Program, Managing Partner Emily Guildner is mentoring Mara for four years, after which, she can become a licensed attorney. Mara has a B.A. from Western Washington University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Rasmussen University. Mara assists our attorneys in litigation matters, estate planning, probate, real estate, fulfilling public records requests, and more.
Outside of work, Mara volunteers for the Historic Downtown Snohomish Association and designed the Flower Basket Posters you may have seen around Snohomish in 2023 and 2024. She is also involved with Whidbey Royalty, a non-profit organization that produces scholarship competitions, in her hometown of Oak Harbor.
