Thom Graafstra

Thom (“Tom”) Graafstra was one of the founding Partners of Weed, Graafstra & Associates, Inc., P.S., now Thompson, Guildner & Associates, Inc., P.S. The Firm is privileged to retain Tom’s services as an of Counsel attorney. Tom works remotely from his home in Montana. Tom’s practice involves all areas of municipal law, including land use, open public meetings, public records, and tort and litigation defense. He was admitted to practice in Washington State in 1976, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington, in 1977, and Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit, in 1996. 

Tom is a former president of the Mission Ridge Ski Education Foundation, prior recipient of the Hampton Award for services related to skiing in Chelan County, a former US Ski and Snowboard Team Official, a ski shop owner, and he remains a Certified Ski Instructor, most recently teaching at Lookout Pass, Idaho.
